Stemming from its policy to invest in the financial and banking sector, Tantash Group decided to invest in Jordinvest Company, which was established in 1998. This gave the company a good push forward as a result of which it achieved unexpected revenues. The Group took into consideration the company’s future and success and thought of developing it and increasing its earnings and accomplishments as well as carrying out effective long-term strategic investments that would be in the interest of shareholders. Therefore, Tantash Group bought a large number of shares worth 55% of the company’s total shares. Jordinvest became a new member of the Tantash Group and Ahmad Tantash was elected as vice president of the board of directors.

The company works in the financial field for local and regional companies. It is concerned with issuing bonds, arranging finance, first issuance of financial companies’ stocks, assets management, merging companies, privatization, refinancing equity and increase in paid up capital. The company is also concerned with introducing everything that is new in the field of investment and the development of the investment culture.

Jordinvest Board of Directors, which is chaired by Dr Mohammed Saeed Al Nabulsi who is a prominent economic figure in the Arab world, includes a group of representatives from local, regional and international investors with long experiences and well-known achievements.

The Capital and Equity Department of the company monitors the investment markets of shares and bonds on regional and international levels in the interest of the client. A team of financial researchers and analysts carry out special financial studies as part of the company’s task to provide accurate and reliable consultations to the clients.
